These womens bicycle shorts are made out of the highest quality 8oz Nylon/Lycra fabric. The heavier weight fabric hugs the skin better. These shorts function as "compression garments," which means that the pressure of the heavier, elastic Lycra will support the muscles and reduce muscle fatigue. A 1" Elastic waist allows the short to stay in place without a drawstring. Soft-Touch gripper elastic on cuffs keep the shorts from riding up the leg. Flatseam construction makes the short more comfortable because the stitching is less obtrusive and flows with the fabric to reduce any irritation and chafing.
