Primal Wear was started by two avid mountain bikers way back in 1991. At that time all the mountain bikers were either wearing road jerseys, or t-shirts. It seemed odd that NOBODY was making clothing specific to the relatively new sport of mountain biking. So, they decided to start. After the young company changed its name to Primal Wear things started taking off. Soon we were seeing the brand everywhere.

That was a long time ago. Now they not only makes clothes for the Mountain Biker, but for the Road Cyclist, the Casual Cyclist, and spinners.
